Add custom fields to vendors

Angus B.
It would be great to have the ability to add custom fields to vendors. This would allow us to track important details such as:
- Has the contract been signed?
- Do they delete data within six months?
- Where is their data located?
- Where do they process their data?

Upvoting and commenting on behalf of Andreas Pf. to introduce his use case.
Background:
Considering the ISO 9001 requirements, companies must conduct yearly vendor evaluations to assess aspects such as reliability, punctuality, and overall performance. Currently, Andreas and his team store these evaluations in an Excel sheet, which is inefficient and detached from the vendor management process within the platform.
Expected Benefits:
- Ensures vendor evaluations are directly tied to the vendor profile, reducing reliance on external spreadsheets.
- Helps meet ISO 9001 compliance by keeping evaluation records in a centralized system.
- Improves vendor performance tracking and decision-making.
- Enhances data accessibility for audits and procurement planning.

type of contract - vendor management
T
Thais S.
The Vendor Manager could include the possibility of defining the contract with the supplier as:
a. Elastic contracts: Can be changed during the term of the contract, thus increasing the availability of the service offered (GCP for example);
b. Rigid (non-elastic) contracts: In order to increase the availability of the service offered, one must wait for the end of the contract cycle or make a new contract.

Add dropdown in "Review Vendor" section to select whether Data is Stored (stored) or Data in Transit (processed)

This would be really helpful information to have especially for our high risk vendors.

Add dropdown selection to mark whether a vendor is relevant for the Privacy Policy (which ones are used by our website/app)

This would also help with filtering.

Add section for freetext in the "Review Vendor" module to add Vendors (sub-processors) address

I am just filling the Privacy Policy for TISAX and I noticed that it is asked for the sub-processor address - There is currently no option to add this into the Vendors info section. It would be very helpful to have that information in the Vendors page.

Add telephone as contact method for vendors
F
Florian H.
We sometimes have telephone contact with a vendor. It'd be nice to have that option on Secfix.

Thanks for the feedback Florian H.! Do I understand correctly: there is a vendor(s)' account manager in your vendor list whom you usually contact via email but you want to add a current phone number of this person?
If yes, I'd appreciate if you could answer these:
- Why would you like to save the phone numbers?
- Where do you store the phone numbers of your vendors' today?
Grigory Emelianov
Some vendors like traditional service providers have only phone number, they don't have a phone number. They have a form we don't use though.
We contact them via phone as primary contact form. Lucas Backes
